How do you ensure the sake stays fresh during shipping?
We store all our sake in temperature-controlled warehouses at 5°C. For shipping, we use insulated packaging and offer optional cold-chain delivery to ensure the delicate flavor profiles are preserved from our cellar to your door.
Do I need to be of legal age to purchase from The Art of Sake?
Yes. By law, you must be at least 21 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your country) to purchase alcohol. A valid government-issued ID must be presented upon delivery for age verification.
What is the shelf life of an unopened bottle of sake?
Most premium sake is best consumed within 6 to 12 months of the bottling date listed on the label. Once opened, we recommend keeping the bottle refrigerated and consuming it within 3 to 5 days for optimal taste.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship to select countries where alcohol importation is permitted. Please note that international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
What is your return policy for damaged items?
If your bottle arrives broken or leaking, please take a photo of the damage and contact our support team within 24 hours of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund immediately.
Can I include a gift message with my order?
Absolutely. During the checkout process, you can select 'Gift Options' to include a personalized message. We also offer premium gift wrapping and traditional Furoshiki cloth wrapping for a truly authentic experience.
